    The Health & Wellness Committee is comprised of:

    • Food Services
    • Parents
    • Teachers
    • District Nurse
    • Early Childhood Representatives

    Together committee members are striving to meet our districts and government mandated goals in order to be a Wellness District. Our goals are briefly outlined below.

    • Provide nutritional food choices for school lunches and snacks
    • Increase daily student activity
    • Incorporate health education into the curriculum

    Did you know that dental caries is the most common chronic disease of childhood and that almost 100% of cavities are preventable?
