Healthy School Meals for All: Program Update

Propositions MM and LL were passed by voters in the recent election, which allows the Healthy School Meals for All program to raise and retain additional funding.  This means there will be no changes to our breakfast and lunch program this year. All students will continue to have access to a free, nutritious breakfast and lunch each school day.

Even though meals are free for all students, we ask that families continue to provide household income information by completing the Household Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals. This information helps schools receive full federal funding, which directly supports meal programs, after school programs and other nutrition initiatives. Please contact Teri Maher 303-646-1850 tmaher@esdk12.org for more information on how to complete the Household Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals.

This institution is an equal opportunity provider.

We are a food service provider. Every effort is made to instruct our food production staff
on the severity of food allergies; however, there is always risk of cross-contamination.
Please be aware that normal operations involve shared cooking areas, such as ovens.
Elizabeth School District is sensitive to the dietary needs and concerns of our students,
but we cannot ensure that cross-contamination does not occur in the kitchen or at the
self-service garden bar. We thoroughly research each product with its manufacturer to
determine which products to serve students with dietary restrictions. However,
manufacturers may change ingredients or production practices without our knowledge.
We cannot be held responsible for the accuracy of ingredient or nutritional information
we provide nor liable for any adverse reactions caused by the products we sell or serve.
