Hello and welcome to First Grade! I am very excited to go on this journey with you and your child. I have been teaching for 25 years, and 20 of those years I have spent in First Grade. I love watching how much growth First Graders make both academically and socially. It is such a critical year, especially in the area of Literacy. Your child will be a part of a warm and loving environment combined with high expectations in order to meet their individual and unique needs. Parent involvment is crucial to a child's academic growth, and I am looking forward to partnering with you in order to best meet the needs of your child. 

My family and I moved to Elizabeth almost 9 years ago and we love being a part of this community! My son, Seamus, will be a Freshman at Elizabeth High School this year. We also have two rescue dogs who are incredibly spoiled (as they should be). I am incredibly passionate about dog rescue. In my spare time I enjoy running, cooking, antiquing, reading a great book, and settling in for a great movie.
