Tammy Moore

Hello and welcome to my homepage! My name is Tammy Moore, and I have spent the last eight years teaching Spanish in Colorado Springs, and I am excited to be teaching here at EHS and I can't wait to get to know all of my students! My classes are challenging but fun, and my kids and I always have a great time together! A little about me... I am originally from Iowa and graduated from Simpson College with a BA of Spanish and a minor in Secondary Education. I cotinued my education at Western State University, where I received a MA in Educator Effectiveness and also an endorsement in Cultural and Linguistic Diversity. My husband is a bakery manager and we have been married for fifteen years. I have two kids; my older son graduated high school last May and starts college this fall, and my younger son will be an incoming Freshman at EHS. I live in Castle Rock, and I enjoy swimming, fishing, cooking, and reading. I am passionate about helping others and doing what I can to make the world a better place! If you would like to communicate, please feel free to email me anytime!

  • This year EHS will have a Spanish Club!! Stay tuned for more information...
