Hello!
I am Miss Lucero and I will be teaching 2nd grade at Running Creek Elementary. I just moved to the area this summer, coming from rural Northeast Colorado. 

I will be going into my 8th year of teaching. I have a background in teaching grades 1st-5th but have a sweet spot for second grade. I am a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado. 

I love adventure! In the past year I have gone sky diving and traveled to Alaska for a week in winter. This summer was spent hiking, camping, boating and lots of swimming. I have a sweet pup named Bonnie that joins me through all of it. 

I am excited about the new school year. We will use parent communication through Class Dojo and invites will be sent soon. Announcements and pictures from the day will be posted there. I have linked the class calendar here and will update once the school year begins. 

I look forward to meeting everyone and welcome questions and conversations!
