Registration for the 2020/21 school year is open for both new students and returning students under the registration tab here on the homepage.
The following is information from our superintendent regarding the 2020-21 school year:
The school district will offer in-person instruction for Preschool through 12th grade, for the vast majority of students. Our goal is that in-person instruction and school will look as "normal" as possible, following existing school calendars. Students will be able to receive instruction in the same subjects as usual.
COVID-19 health protocols will need to be in place though, in the least disruptive manner possible to minimize, but not eliminate, risk.
When in-person learning is not possible, because of state mandates or school-based COVID-19 cases, instruction will temporarily transition to remote learning. The temporary transition to and from remote learning will impact the fewest number of people necessary, for the shortest possible time, based on the specific situation and health guidance in place at that time. Remote learning will be a variation of what the district provided in the Spring, taught by the same teachers as in-person, but more robust and academically rigorous.
The school district will offer a 100% on-line K-12 learning option for those preferring that method over in-person instruction. Online learning is different from remote learning, where online learning is an alternative to in-person instruction. Students who choose online learning will need to remain in online learning through the end of the grading period. Students will only be allowed to move from online learning to in-person instruction at the end or beginning of a term.
You will make your selection for either in person or 100% online as part of the online registration process.
All students will receive details about their classroom teacher, assessment and orientation days (17th, 18th or 19th of August) in early August.
Our office is closed for summer break until Monday, August 3rd. Please feel free to call or email us with questions at any time. Our registrar is Paula Burke and her email is email@example.com. We also check voicemails on the main number regularly: 303-646-4620.
We hope you have a happy and healthy rest of the summer!
