NJHS raises funds through dodgeball tournament

Elizabeth Middle School's chapter of the National Junior Honor Society hosted a dodgeball tournament after school March 26 and 27, with the top two teams facing off at an all-school assembly on March 28. The top team got the chance to face off against a team of teachers.

A total of eight student teams started the tournament, with Team Bubblicious defeating Team Lightning for the chance to square off against the faculty. In the end, though, the teachers were the last ones standing.

With concessions and $1 admission, the tournament was a fundraiser for NJHS, which carries out numerous service projects throughout the year. NJHS sponsor Megan Hartrich said the students raised $369 for more NJHS events.
