ESD Safety and Security leadership talk about transition and team experience
Protection and experience!
Check out this interview with the leadership of the Elizabeth School District Safety and Security team. ESD Safety and Security Director Jeremy Casey and Safety and Security Operations Coordinator Tyler Rabideau talk about the depth of experience with their team, which combines over a century of law enforcement and military experience.
For the first time, the school district now has an armed presence at each campus. Casey and Rabideau worked together on getting their team trained and ready for the school year. Both Casey and Rabideau have an impressive amount of experience themselves. Casey spent more than two decades working for the U.S. Secret Service and provided protection to various U.S. Presidents. Rabideau is a former officer for the Elizabeth Police Department and spent years serving in the U.S. Army.
At this week’s school board meeting, it was announced that Casey will be leaving the school district for another opportunity with a private security contracting firm. Rabideau was announced as Casey’s replacement pending formal board approval.
Congratulations to both Casey and Rabideau for both of their new opportunities and a special thank you from our community for getting the Safety and Security team to where it is today!
