Also on the fundraising page is the mission statement of Parents United in regards to the fundraising effort.  It states:

"Parents United is proud to hose this fundraiser in support of the Elizabeth School District's fight against an ACLU lawsuit seeking to force age-inappropriate and explicit materials back into school libraries.  Donations will help the district defend its commitment to providing a safe, focused, and academically-driven education for all students while protecting community values and parental rights."
