EHS TEACHER NAMED COLORADO CONGRESS OF FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHER OF THE YEAR

Elizabeth High School Spanish teacher Heather Witten earned the Colorado Congress of Foreign Language (CCFLT) Teacher of the Year award.

The CCFLT Teacher of the Year award is intended for the kind of teacher that should be emulated: a mentor to teachers and students alike, an advocate for World Language, an educator, a leader, and a friend. Ms. Witten has published books, developed curriculum, written blogs, flipped lessons, mentored teachers, inspired colleagues, and infused in her students a love for learning Spanish.
