Looking for a few good cooks

Just as our Transportation Department is having difficulty finding staff for crucial school district operations, our Food Services Department is also short-staffed. 

If you or someone you know both enjoys cooking and likes gaining the satisfaction of knowing you’re helping provide nourishment and fuel for active learners, please consider applying for one of several open kitchen-staff positions. 

We have part-time, five-days-a-week positions available as well as substitute positions. 

Duties include food preparation – cooking for breakfast and/or lunch, prepping salad bar and deli setup – serving lunch, and daily kitchen cleaning. 

Hours are 9 a.m.-2 p.m. (15-25 hours per week). For stay-at-home parents, this can be an ideal way to bring in some extra income while working only when students are in school – no evenings, weekends or holidays. 

Pay ranges from $13.90 to $16.90 per hour, depending on experience.
