Plains, Bones and a Bus

Identified G/T students from Elizabeth High School will head north to Nebraska on Saturday, August 19th.  “Plains, Bone and a Bus” will focus first on history, geography and geology with stops at Scotts Bluff National Monument, Ft. Robinson State Park, Hudson-Meng Education & Research Center and the Museum of the Fur Trade.  Week-end accommodations will be at Open Door Church and Camp south of Chadron.

Monday, August 21, is Eclipse Day with viewing of the total solar eclipse at Carhenge, near Alliance. Eclipse 2017 time for Alliance is from 10:30 AM  – 1:15 PM.

Monday afternoon students travel back to EHS after the sun has reappeared.
