Welcome to 6th Grade!  

I would like to introduce myself, starting with my teaching background.  My teaching experience goes back 25 years. 13 of those years have been at EMS. During those 25 years, I have taught 6th Grade Language Arts, 6th Grade Writing, 6th Grade Social Studies, 7th Grade Language Arts, and 8th Grade Language Arts.

Family wise, my husband and I have a daughter and a son.  My son attends Elizabeth High School, and my daughter graduated from Elizabeth High School and is currently in college.  Our family also includes three dogs, 9 barn cats, 22 chickens, and 2 roosters!

Sports are also important to my family and I. My daughter played soccer, and my son played hockey.  We love the Colorado Avalanche as well!  

Alas, summer has come to an end and school begins.  I am so excited to meet and get to know each and every one of you!  Hopefully, I will make organized writing (essay writing) fun for all of you!
