Hello! My name is Zach Williams, and I am the STEM/Computer teacher at EMS this year. Additionally, I will be in charge of the yearbook class. I look forward to meeting all my students, and I am excited for the year ahead!

A little bit about me...

I am a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado and hold a degree in History and Secondary Education. While my endorsement is in social studies, I have mainly taught STEM and Computer Science courses during my 9-year tenure as an educator in the state of Colorado. I have lived in Colorado for most of my life (over 20 years), but I am originally from California--though I have strong Midwestern ties through my parents, who are both from southern Illinois. I went to high school in Douglas County and, up until this point, that is where I have primarily spent my years as a teacher.

Baseball is my absolute favorite thing in the world (go Cardinals!), but I enjoy hockey, football, and basketball as well. I am definitely a bit nerdy and watch all kinds of genres of TV and movies as well as spending (probably!) too much of my free time playing video games. I am generally pretty easy going and love talking about the things I am passionate about.
