Dear Parents,

Hello, I am excited to be in your child’s classroom and to get to know each of you. I cannot wait to get started. Let me tell you a little about myself.  This is my 18th year teaching, with most of my experience being preschool. I have my Master’s in Elementary Education, and I have a passion for young students. I have a fun sense of humor to go with it. I have lived in Colorado almost my whole life. I have two boys and a puppy named Harley. They are nineteen and fifteen and one. I enjoy going to the pool, reservoir, reading, hiking, dancing in my kitchen, walking my dog, spending time with my family, traveling and SCUBA diving. The beach is my happy place. I spent most of the summer at ther reservoir and hanginh with my boys or friends.   

A typical day will have these sections: Morning Message, Science, CKLA Skils, CKLA Knowledge, Lunch and Recess, Math, Specials, Writing and then Pack Up to go home. We will also go to the library on Tuesday and have other special events throughout the year.

We will be earning hat days, pizza, ice cream and popsicle parties, along with lunch with the teacher based on our behavior. Listen for updates on when we have earned them.

We will use Class Dojo for behavior and constant communication. Please let me know if you prefer paper copies of WAG.

Also, let me know if you are interested in volunteering in the class. We welcome any support. We just have to make sure to not have too many adults in the room at one time, so we will need to create a schedule.
