The DAC conducted an online parent survey during the first two weeks of November 2022, asking parents for input about the schools their students attend. Emails were sent directly to families, and reminders appeared in multiple editions of the district newsletter and well as on social media.
Parents who have students in multiple school levels (elementary, middle and high school) were encouraged to complete a survey for each level. The anonymous surveys were hosted on the Google platform, which limited each IP address to one response per survey level.
Following are the numbers and percentages of responses for each school:
- Elizabeth High School - 207 responses (30.6% of eligible population)
- Elizabeth Middle School - 163 (39.0%)
- Running Creek Elementary - 114 (36.9%)
- Singing Hills Elementary - 96 (23.0%)
A letter from committee leaders was sent to all district parents and guardians on Jan. 17 summarizing the results.
