Mrs. Sarah Mosher

Welcome to Elizabeth High School!  My name is Sarah Mosher and I've been teaching in Elizabeth for eight years now.  I am the head of the Special Education Department and have a great team of teachers and paraprofessionals who love our students :)  I have loved my time in the Elizabeth School District because of the sense of family and community that we have here.

A little about me.  I've been married now for 13 years to my wonderful husband Gary.  We have two sons, Alex (12) and Ryker (almost 11) who have been attending school in the Elizabeth District since kindergarten.  One is now at Elizabeth Middle School and one is at Running Creek Elementary.  I played softball for 14 years and coached for four years at my old high school (Coronado).  My family and I are very quirky and enjoy a lot of science fiction/fantasy shows.  We have the tradition of going up to the Denver Fan Expo (Comic Con) every year.  When I'm not teaching or working, I enjoy doing many different crafts including crocheting, cross-stitch, diamond painting, and baking.

I teach two learning support classrooms and also co-teach in the science department with Ms. Wyatt for Physical Science and Mr. Wilson for Biology.  I've really enjoyed my time working with them and getting to know all the students, not just students on an IEP.   I am also the Junior Class Sponsor and am in charge of running the concessions stand and helping with Prom.
