Hi all!  Just a bit about me... I live right here in Elizabeth, and am celebrating my 25th year of teaching!  I have lived all over the U.S., including Missouri, Kentucky, California, and Texas. My family settled in Colorado when I was in 9th grade, and I have loved living in our mountainous paradise ever since.  I studied Law, Psychology, Equine Sciences, and Vet Med in college before settling on Education, which I knew all along was my passion.  

You might get to meet my middle-school-science-teaching husband, Johnboy, when he visits as a guest master pie baker.  Many of you met him at Running Creek Elementary when he visited my 5th grade classroom to talk about his gas and oil exploration adventures in Alaska.  And yes, he still loves to pick on kids he likes!

Both my boys graduated from Elizabeth High School.  Devyn is studying Mechanical Engineering at Metro State. Quinn has 10 more years of college studies to become a psychiatrist. They are both hardworkers that make me proud:)  I love the fact that I can find their pictures every morning in the halls of EHS.

Our family loves to be outside, and we really enjoy hosting visitors (of the two legged type - no deer, please) in out big garden.  You might also find us at rock shows (John is a geophysicist), Celtic festivals (my side of the family), playing board/card games, reading lots of books, volunteering in the community, or hanging out with friends.

I'm super excited to be at EHS meeting new kids and seeing all my past students!
