Mr. Adam Payton

I have the pleasure to introduce myself as a member of both the Social Studies and Alternative Education departments here at Elizabeth High School.  The 2023-34 School Year will by my eighth year in Elizabeth School District, and my fourth year at EHS since the closure of Frontier High School.  This will be my 13th year as a teacher over all and it has been my pleasure to continue offering a wide array of courses that meet the needs and interests of my students.

While my schedule changes often year to year, this year I will have the pleasure to teach The Age of Exploration and Revolution, Architecture, Warfare, and Government for the first semester.  I will also continue to manage the online recovery classes and will have two Cardinal Recovery courses this year.

For the past two years I have also been involved in restoring the Chess Club to Elizabeth High School and look forward to continuing to build the team and the club to continue bringing tournament trophies to EHS.

When not in the classroom and I am best found in the mountains hiking and enjoying the views that only Colorado can offer to those willing to work for them.

For students looking for up to date information, they should reference Google Classroom for current assignments.  Please email me if you have trouble accessing the appropriate Google Classroom.
