Hello parents and students! My name is Brian Martinez and I teach World Geography and World History.  This is my 2nd year teaching here at EHS but I have been teaching in Elizabeth at the elementary level for 10 + years, teaching 1st and 5th grades.  I am also beginning my 17th year of coaching football here at Elizabeth High School.  It is great to see so many familiar faces and students that I have had and I am looking forward to a great year. 

A little about myself:  I completed my undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico and Adams State College. I have also completed my Master's degree in Reading and Literacy through Walden University.  I am also endorsed in Social Studies K-12.  

I was born and raised in Taos, New Mexico and live in Elizabeth with my wife Reina and our 4 children, Lucia, Liliana, Carlos and Cruz.  We also have two crazy dogs that keep us busy named Hamilton and Storm. 

I love spending time camping and being in the outdoors with my family. I love all sports, coaching football, and I am a big supporter of EHS athletics, the Dallas Cowboys, and the University of New Mexico Lobos.  

Our classrooms will be using Google Classroom every day, so please make sure your students are checking our classroom daily.
