My name is Paula Humphrey and I am one of the school counselors at Elizabeth High School. I work with students with last names starting with N through Z. I started in the position as a school counselor at Elizabeth High School last year and will continue for the 23-24 school year.  I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming in Education and my Master's Degree from the United States International University, where I completed my last semester in London, England. After completing my Master's degree, I worked and taught in the K-6 classrooms and then as an Assistant Professor and Academic Advisor for Teacher Education at Regis University in Denver, CO. I was at Regis University for 21 years.  From these experiences, I decided to pursue an additional Master's degree that would allow me to help children become more successful students, help them effectively deal with various problems, and inspire them to advocate for themselves now and into adulthood. I am currently completing my 2nd Master's degree in School Counseling at Adams State University. I am excited to work with all of the students and families at Elizabeth High School once again next year and in the years to come! My door is always open!
