This is a General Chemistry class through ACC that will, if passed, result in college credit. It will look a lot like CP Chemistry, just rather faster and more in depth. If you liked CP Chemistry, then I would possit that the challenges of CE Chemistry will pertain more to that pace rather than the content. Chemistry is called the central science because it connects physics to biology; as such, it will have characteristics of both. Some things will need to be memorized, others will require some algebra, and the combination can be challenging. Fortunately this class is scheduled to meet for two blocks to ensure completion of the labs, so there should be ample time for studying.
Please note that there are prerequisite courses associated with this course: CP Chemistry and CE College Algebra (or a 3 or higher on the AP BC Calculus test)
Due to safety concerns, this course is also capped at 6 students.
