At the beginning of math there was physics and these two grew up together as humanity's most "pure" attempt to describe the universe. The math here is calculus, which is not very accessible to the average person, so physics was redesigned using alebra instead. I picked up algebra based physics here at Elizabeth High School and have found that the algebra part is straight forward; where physics can get challenging is in knowin what to do with all that algebra. But once you get everything lined up, I find physics to be very beautiful. This course will cover classical mechanics topics such as kinematics, enery, and circuits. There is a lab component; however, it is fairly low risk and no special equipment is required. I would, however, recomend a graphing calculator.
