Welcome to the Mathematic Department Course Catalog
Click the courses below to see the details of each.
Integrated Math I
This is the 1st course of a 3 year progression. In this course students will develop the concepts of functions, solving systems, geometric transformations, and geometric congruence. Students will also explore statistics by modeling and displaying two-variable data.
Integrated Math II
This course further develops algebra and geometry skills by integrating concepts with practical applications offering solid preparation for upper level mathematics, specifically Algebra II. Concepts include expressions, equations, factoring, radicals, polynomials, graphs, applied geometry, basic trigonometry, statistics, and probability.
Integrated Math III
This is the 3rd course of a 3 year progression.
CE Calculus
This is Calculus 2410 through ACC. Students can take this as a stand alone course or take BC calc for the 2nd Semester.
AP - Calculus BC
This course builds on the concepts from AP Calculus AB and goes on to explore the concepts, methods, and applications of differential and integral calculus.
AP - Statistics
This is an advanced course in statistics designed to prepare students for the AP Exam given in the spring. Topics include expository analysis of data, planning a study and collection of data, producing statistical models using probability distributions, and statistical inference.
Advanced Algebra and Trigonometry
In this course students will develop a further knowledge of functions. Concepts include all twelve parent functions, translations of functions, symmetry, piece-wise functions, polynomials, composite, complex zeros and rational zeros. A good portion of this course will focus on Trigonometry.
Statistics
This course is designed for students who are going into a vocational or technical field or anyone who wants to know more about how Statistics are used everyday. Students will see how Run-Charts are used in manufacturing and how Normal Probability Plots are used in fields like electrical supply companies.
Life Skills Math and Personal Finance
This is a Math and Personal Finance class for students with Severe Needs.
CE College Algebra
Includes a brief review of intermediate algebra, equations, and inequalities, functions and their graphs, exponential and logarithmic functions, linear and nonlinear systems.
CE College Trigonometry
Covers topics including trigonometric functions (with graphs and inverse functions), identities and equations, solutions of triangles, complex numbers, and other topics as time permits.
Intermediate Math
This course further develops reasoning and problem solving skills by integrating concepts with practical applications offering solid preparation for upper level mathematics.
