EHS is proud to offer courses which may lead to certification upon graduation.
Click the courses below to see the details of each.
Nurse Aide Training Program
The Nurse Aide Training Program is available to Juniors or Seniors who are interested in learing more about health care. Students who meet the requirements of this class can be recommended to the State of Colorado to take state certification to become a Certified Nurse Aide. This would give the student the opportunity to work in a health care setting.
Student Internship
Students participate in an Innovative Learning Opportunities Program experience with a employer/mentor. Wednesdays, students engage in group activities and debriefings around the “Profile of a Graduate” and their experience in their internship.
Cosmetology
CFSSA offers a two-year Cosmetology program and a one-year Esthetician program. Some programs available in core areas may not be provided to high school students.
Pickens
Qualifying juniors or seniors may apply to participate part-time in a trade program at one of our partner trade schools. Interested students may choose a field of study that aligns with their interests.
CE Teacher ED
Students develop understanding around major areas of classroom teaching at all grade levels. This year-long class is practicum based with lectures on education strategies and classroom skills.
