Foundational 2D Visual Arts
Foundational 2D is an introductory course to 2D Visual Arts. Classwork and projects will provide students an opportunity to improve their drawing and rendering skills, to become proficient with a number of 2D media techniques, and become aware of relevant theories and conceptual approaches to making art.
Intermediate 2D Visual Arts
Intermediate 2D Visual Arts builds upon the techniques and approaches learned in Foundational 2D. Classwork and projects will allow students to work with many different mediums and emphasis will be placed on further developing technical skills, observational acuity, and visual problem solving.
Advanced 2D Visual Arts
Advanced 2D Visual Arts expands upon the techniques and concepts learned in Foundational 2D and Intermediate 2D and both courses are required for enrollment. Classwork and projects will tackle more advanced concepts and emphasis will be placed on visual problem solving, technical skill development, conceptual sophistication, and the application of learned techniques and theory towards refined and considered works.
AP- 2D Art and Design
AP 2D Art & Design course is directed at the advanced student who is looking to study visual art at a post-secondary level, with a focus on thematic concept and design in 2D media. Students will complete and document a unified portfolio of work to be submitted for grading with the Advanced Placement Submissions Board. Successful candidates can receive college credit for their work.
Independent Study 2D Visual Arts
Independent Study 2D Visual Arts is and advanced course intended for students who are seeking the opportunity to explore and develop their own personal artistic process. Students will work with the teacher to develop a course of study that provides structure, critical feedback and measurable goals. Emphasis will be placed on the exploration of personal themes and concepts and refinement of process in the service of producing finished professional quality artwork.
AP 2d Drawing
AP 2D Drawing course is directed at the advanced student who is looking to study visual art at a post-secondary level, with a focus on thematic concept and displayed mastery of drawing skills. Students will complete and document a unified portfolio of work to be submitted for grading with the Advanced Placement Submissions Board. Successful candidates can receive college credit for their work.
3D
Foundational 3D Art
Introductory 3D art. Designed to teach students the elements of art and design through the exploration of 3D materials
Intermediate 3D
Build on the foundational knowledge of 3D art and continue the exploration of 3D materials
Advanced 3D
A continued exploration of 3D materials and arts
AP- 3D
This course is a college level, independent 3D art class for juniors and seniors who have completed all other 3D art classes
Ind. Study 3D Drawing & Design
Designed for students to continue on in 3D art independently as well as learning other areas of the art world

A study of art history through art making
Graphic Design Photoshop
Introductory Graphic design course focused on Adobe Photoshop
Graphic Design Illustrator
Secondary graphic design course based around Adobe Illustrator
Peer Fine Arts
Support other students with developmental disabilities in a visual arts environment, focusing on motor skills and creative thinking in the 2D and 3D world of art.
