World Geography
This course will integrate physical and cultural geography by looking at current events around the world using various tools, technology, and resources.
World History
World History is a course that blends world geography with Eastern and Western historical events that span from Antiquity through the Cold War. Cause and effect relationships will be explained throughout history. Conflicts and key players will be applied to modern society.
US History
Students will be presented with the history of America from the Gilded Age to present. The students will learn the roles of government, religion, philosophies, conflict, and culture within American society.
US Government
The focus is on the principles and beliefs upon which the United States was founded and on the structure, functions, and powers of government at the national, state, and local levels.
Sociology
Students will examine human social behavior.
AP United States History
The Advanced Placement U.S. History course is designed to provide students with the analytical skills and factual knowledge necessary to deal critically with the problems and materials in United States history.
AP US Gov and Politics
AP U.S. Government and Politics studies the operations and structure of the U.S. government and the behavior of the electorate and politicians.
Modern Studies
Modern Studies helps you to understand important issues in the world today. It helps you gather information about these issues, evaluate the information you have and, most importantly, it helps you to make up your own mind and come to your own conclusions about these issues.
CE Western Civilization 1310
This course will introduce the history of Western Civilization from antiquity to the 21st century. This is a dual enrollment course offered through Arapahoe Community College and offers up to six college credit hours.

This course will continue the history of Western Civilization from antiquity to the 21st century. This is a dual enrollment course offered through Arapahoe Community College and offers up to six college credit hours.
Aviation History
Aviation History is a one-semester class focusing on the development of flight throughout the centuries. Science-based hands on exploration lessons on flight and design are incorporated into the class.
Colorado History
A Class that focuses on Colorado's exciting, complex and interesting history.
International Relations
An introduction to contemporary analysis of international relations. Students will learn major theories of international relations and apply them to understand international situations and issues in the modern world.
Life Skills US History & Gov
This is a History and US Government course for students with Severe Needs.
World Wars
An exciting class that allows for the in-depth study of two wars that changed the World forever. Come learn all about World War I and World War II!
Psychology I
Students will examine the basics of human behavior.
Psychology II
A lab and discussion oriented class for students who are interested in pursuing a career in or are interested in the biological sciences, social work, counseling, or psychology.
CE US History 1210
Explores trends within events, peoples--including Native American--groups, ideas, and institutions in North America and the United States to Reconstruction.
CE US History 1220
Explores trends within events, peoples, groups, ideas, and institutions since the American Civil War
Art Through The Ages; History
This course is intended to be taken alongside its companion class the ‘Art Through the Ages/Exploration of Art through History’, under the Art Course Descriptions.
Alt Goverment
The focus is on the principles and beliefs upon which the United States was founded and on the structure, functions, and powers of government at the national, state, and local levels.
History of Crime and the Criminal Justice System
The History of Crime course is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the evolution of crime, criminal justice systems, and the impact of crime on society.
Native American History
Students will research and discover the rich Native American history, spanning from pre-columbian times to the modern day.
CE - 20th Century World History
Investigates the major political, social, and economic developments, international relationships, scientific breakthroughs, and cultural trends that have shaped the various global regions, empires, and nation-states since the late nineteenth century.
Mythology
This course explores various mythologies from around the world, examining their cultural, historical, and societal contexts
History of Sports
This course examines the development, influence, and cultural significance of sports throughout history.Students will explore how sports have shaped and reflected societal changes, economic developments, and political movements across the globe throughout history.
