    COURSE DESCRIPTION:

    Anatomy/Physiology is a year-long course aimed at students gaining a better understanding of science issues through the study of the human body and the systems that drive it.

     

    COURSE OBJECTIVE:

    This course is designed for students who have future plans in biological or health sciences. The course will focus on three integrating themes: 1. Interrelationships of body organ systems, 2. Homeostasis, and 3. Structure and function. Students will study the structures and functions of the eleven body systems and the relationships that help the body maintain a functional balance. Animal tissues will be used for experimental purposes.

    PREREQUISITES:   Biology and Chemistry
