A solid foundation for those looking to attend college and take a General Chemistry course.
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
High school topics such as dimensional analysis, mixtures and substances, subatomic particles and the structure of the atom, ionic, covalent, and metallic bonding, the mole, chemical reactions, and states of matter will be covered. Additionally, college topics such as gas laws, acids and bases, and nuclear chemistry will be introduced.
OPEN TO GRADES: 10, 11, 12
RECOMMENDED GRADES: 11
PREREQUISITES: A or B in CP Biology, A or B in Integrated II, and co-enrollment in Integrated III. Or teacher recommendation.
