    COURSE DESCRIPTION:

    Explore the history and background of criminal activity from throughout the world. Participate in evaluations of criminal enterprises, methods, and how they impact the people involved.

     

    COURSE OBJECTIVE:

    Students will explore the current and past issues of criminal justice by researching and analyzing major criminal organizations and institutions. They will explore the history, structure, and events that contributed to creation and continuation of the criminal enterprises in question. Police and law enforcement efforts to address issues such as drug trafficking, human trafficking, arms smuggling, and black markets will also be analysed and evaluated for effectiveness.
