    COURSE DESCRIPTION:

    Provides the students with an opportunity to gain knowledge and skills from a planned work experience in a career field. Internships placements provide learning experiences not avaliable in the classroom setting. Internships provide entry-level, career-related experience, and workplace competencies that employers value when hiring new employees.

     

    COURSE OBJECTIVE:

    Students will demonstrate core learning objectives and develop and complete specific learning outcomes as selected and evaluated by the work-site surpervisor, and the student in conjunction with the internship coordinator. Students will attend wednesday internship seminars and check in with the internship seminars and check in with the internship coordinator during internship class periods.

     

    OPEN TO GRADES:   9,10, 11, 12

    RECOMMENDED GRADES:  11, 12

    PREREQUISITES:  None

    MAY REPEAT FOR CREDIT:  Yes
