Second semeter college level general chemistry for college credit. Specifically for students who are seeking medical or science-based degrees in their postsecondary plans.

COURSE OBJECTIVE:
College level chemistry/ general chemistry covering measurement, matter, chemical formulas, reactions and equations, stoichiometry, electron configuration and quantum numbers, bonding theory, solutions, kinetics, equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, thermodynamics, and electrochemistry. A Laboratory component will demonstrate qualitative and quantitative analysis.

RECOMMENDED GRADES: 11, 12
PREREQUISITES: AB or BC Calculus with a score of 3 or higher on the AP Exam as an alternative to the CE College Algebra and a B or higher for CP Chem.
