This course introduces the fundamental principles & elements of 2-dimensional art & design through a survey of concepts, techniques, & material practices. Emphasis is placed on critical thinking & creative problem solving through investigations of compositional arrangement, visual perception, studio practice, & the intersections of form & concept in 2D space.
