This class is the second of four automotive repair classes, focusing on the vehicle's chassis systems.
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
Students will gain an in-depth understanding of the vehicle's steering, suspension and brake systems. Specific topics covered will be component identification, testing and replacement. Brake system labs will be focused on friction material replacement, hydraulic system servicing and understanding of correct repair procedures. Steering and suspension labs will be focused on removal and replacement of major components as well as alignment procedures.
