Students will develop the knowledge and skills based on the Physical Education curriculum standards. This class may be taken more than one time for credit.
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
1. Students will be introduced to a fitness lifestyle. 2. Students will participate in aerobic activity, toning with weights and flexibility. 3. Students will participate in fitness development. 4. Students will participate in cardiovascular fitness. 5. Students are responsible for all written assignments. 6. Students will be introduced to different types of fitness styles such as, but not limited to, pilates, yoga, step aerobics, different dancing styles and floor aerobics.. 7. Students will be pre- and post-tested based on the Physical Education curriculum standards.
