An opportunity for students with developmental disabilities to participate in theatre at their level. This class covers the basics of acting through various projects, and a brief intro and overview of important theatrical events.
COURSE OBJECTIVE:
Students will be introduced to important historical figures of theatre and learn about their contributions through acting exercises. Students will also work on learning how to effectively express characters, work together as a team to put on short skits, and learn theatre games to help with expression and presentation of emotions through acting.
