Students continue to learn the language through its use in realistic contexts with more complex grammatical structures. Additional listening, reading, writing and speaking skills are acquired through practice with authentic materials, songs, and real-life situations. The study of culture and customs is an integral part of the course.
This course is offered during the first semester and is required for those students who intend to attend college.
OPEN TO GRADES: 9, 10, 11, 12
RECOMMENDED GRADES: 10, 11, 12
PREREQUISITES: Pass Spanish II-A with 60% or better, or be a native speaker and pass a placement test Spanish If there is a pause in Spanish classes such as not taking one for a year must have teacher approval to continue. Recomended taking all classes consecutively.
